Since I'm WAY behind, I'm just going to combine two months - and then we will get caught back up in April. I can't wait to see what you've read!

  1. February: I read Shanghai Girls by Lisa See. It's a historical fiction novel about Chinese immigration. I love the story and the characters. There was something that happened in the beginning that was hard for me to get past emotionally. But it was totally worth it. I love Lisa See's writing and have read all her books. It is a great book that looks at Chinese culture from the inside.

March: I read Eat, Love, Pray by Elizabeth Gilbert. It was an interesting book. It is separated into 3 sections. In the first two sections it starts out interesting then kind of falls flat. The last section is great all the way through and could be a book on its own without the other two parts. I'm not sure I would read something else by her but this one is great about explaining culture and religion.
